Brook T. Dirlam is an Associate Attorney at Myers Law Group, LLC. Mr. Dirlam works primarily in the areas of civil litigation, real estate law, and business law.

Mr. Dirlam received his B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University where he majored in Crime, Law & Justice and obtained minors in the areas of Business in the Liberal Arts and Labor Studies and Employment Relations. Mr. Dirlam graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in June 2016. While there, he served as a Research Editor for the Duquesne Business Law Journal and his article Property Tax Exemptions for Institutions of Purely Public Charity After Mesivtah Eitz Chaim of Bobov Inc., 17 Duq. Bus. L.J. 175 (2015),was selected for publication in Volume 17. In his capacity as a Research Editor, he oversaw a team of six Junior Staff members and assisted in editing and reviewing their articles.

Additionally, while in law school, Mr. Dirlam participated in Duquense University’s Unemployment Compensation Clinic where he represented individuals in front of the Unemployment Compensation Tribunal. An active member of the school’s Appellate Moot Court Program, Mr. Dirlam coached several teams to the semi-finals in consecutive years at the Touro Law Center’s National Moot Court Competition in Law & Religion. He was a member of the Louis J. Manderino Honor Society for excellence in Moot Court and a three-year recipient of the Zeno & Thomas Fritz Endowed Scholarship, chosen by the Dean of the Law School

 
Mr. Dirlam started with Myers Law Group in the summer of 2014 as a Law Clerk and was asked to join the firm as an Associate after graduation. While at Myers Law Group, Mr. Dirlam has had exposure to a variety of practice areas, with an increased emphasis in the areas of litigation and small business counseling. Mr. Dirlam is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Dirlam grew up in Honesdale, PA and currently resides in the Strip District area of the City of Pittsburgh..
